Caragh GFC All Stars Back in Action!

Caragh GFC All Stars Back in Action!

Caragh GFC is delighted to announce that our All-Stars team is back in action this Friday, 12th September — and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back to St. Farnan’s Park! The excitement is building as our returning All Stars take to the field again, and we are especially thrilled to welcome new players who will be joining us this season.

The All Stars programme is run in partnership with St. Kevin’s GAA and Rathcoffey GAA, providing opportunities for children and teens up to the age of 16 to get involved in Gaelic Games in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment. Sessions run from September to November and again from March to June, giving participants the chance to learn, develop, and most importantly, enjoy their football.

This special initiative is part of the GAA’s All Stars Inclusive Clubs Programme, which is designed to ensure that everyone — regardless of age, ability, or background — has the chance to participate in Gaelic Games. It reflects the GAA’s wider commitment to inclusion and diversity, and at Caragh, it’s something we are very proud to deliver in our local community.

The programme focuses on developing fundamental ball skills, encouraging regular exercise, and creating a fun and safe environment for children who might not typically take part in standard team games. More than that, the All Stars programme plays an important role in fostering friendship, community spirit, and a sense of belonging — both within the team and across the wider club.

We are very excited to get started again this week, and we know our players, coaches, and volunteers are looking forward to another season full of fun, laughter, and learning.

New players are always welcome, so if you or someone you know would like to join our All Stars, you can contact our children’s officer on childrensofficer.caragh.kildare@gaa.ie

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday — let’s make it another fantastic season for our All Stars!
